Menzoberranzan Map

I hope I'm right and not being stupid that the drow starting area is still Menzo, considering the houses are still there and all. I just wanted to make the suggestion that it needs a new map, but then I decided why not make it myself? The area has changed and all, so I went ahead and spent the past few hours on mapping the area and drawing a semi legible version of it in map form.

Who would I contact to submit this as something from my character?

My understanding was that this was an area that imms did not wish to have mapped. That being said, I have one Drow character and went about mapping the place for my own benefit. As a drow, growing up there, it makes sense to reflect their understanding of the region. Furthermore, its a very dangerous place in many areas even for young drow. I personally think a map would be a great idea assuming that players use it wisely to reflect only the knowledge of proper characters.

I see, well I drew one up if they decide to use it. It's not the best quality and pretty vague as this area is confuuuuusiiiiiing. But it can give some minor guidance.

There's already a basic map of Menzo, if I'm not mistaken. I don't think it's completely out of bounds for mapping.

From my experience and memory that map is no longer accurate. The area seems changed a great deal from what I can tell.

Certainly the Underdark and probably the Dark Dominion should not be mapped, but I think an updated map of the city proper would be fine. The new area is more in line with what you find in the handbooks, anyway. So long as such a map is not giving away secrets, it makes sense to update it.

I agree that the city itself should be mapped, given that all the Drow start in it.

The one I worked on is up for review, I can't promise it'll be accepted because the quality is not the best. I did it in character for the one I used to map it.
