Hi there! I am working to resurrect the Story Council. Here are the basics:
Story council: What is it?
The story council is a council of mortal players who have applied for and been approved to run roleplay plots. The level at which they may run plots is reflective of their Story Council rank.
Who should apply?
I am only looking to add around five members. Any member of the playerbase may apply, new or old. I am mainly interested in finding players eager and willing to work as a team with the other members of the council. Players who understand that this is a job foremost - and while it's still definitely fun - it's work! You don't enter at the top of the ladder but with time and dedication you can easily climb the ladder!
Don't feel unmotivated by that low number! When the council is working and people are rising in ranks, more players will be added!
How do we apply?
You can apply by submitting an application titled 'Story council - Account XYZ'. This application should include one to three well planned roleplay plots.
What is a well planned plot? A plot that answers the W's. Who what where when and why.
A good plot for a beginner is not overly detailed. It does not require too much of you as the person running it and not too much of the playerbase trying to complete it.
Get your feet wet with simple things, and work up to bigger!
What happens once I am a member?
Once you are a member you will submit plots to the Story Council forums where they will be discussed and planned. (Things like what items and abilities you may need). After that happens you will be set up and given the chance to run your event. As your rank rises, you will earn more freedoms in doing this. You will be added to a forum section that breaks things into more details.
This council is for running roleplays, not holding events. Events are things posted in the events forums where players meet for various reasons to play, party, adventure or what not. Roleplays are plots that are thought out extensively and planned with specific details and ending outcome.

Already a member? Check out my new posts in the main Story Council discussion area! Post a plot to get to work again! If I require activity and events from my faith managers and player council members I should expect the same from Story Council members - if you're a member and you do not run a roleplay by November 30, you will be removed for now. You'll be welcome to resubmit to rejoin at a later time when your time permits availability to run roleplays again! Additionally - if you've already been gone for six months (Gone means less than 100 hours in six months, not just 0's for six months) you'll need to resubmit to rejoin. I am trying not to overwhelm myself in resurrecting this council - a huge help to that is seeing plainly on the list who I have to work with on roleplays!
