I don't know if this has been brought up before, but I would like to suggest a command that allows a player to have a conversation with themselves. There are several benefits that can come from this and I will state one.
a) While other PC's wouldn't benefit from this outright, it can add flavor as well as a way for storytellers and imm's that may be listening to understand what is motivating the character at that moment and perhaps give them insight into future plans he may not want to be publicly notified.
Say that player A is racist against Player B, but due to a common vestment, saying something or showing any emotion other than agreeing would harm, or compromise future relations with said parties. So instead, player A tells Player B they are fine with it while in their head they think, stupid player B this is only lasting as long as it has to until I can get away from them.
That scenario is kind of lame, but it would show the storytellers and imm's that he's doing it, not for himself, but another reason.
Any thoughts on this idea?
Think command....
Re: Think command....
As an alternative, you can send yourself a tell (tell self Oh my Gods, Beckith, look at her butt). I have often been known to do this on various unstable characters, especially.
IMMs will be able to see these (and all) tells.

"He served, but found no pride in service. He fought, but took no joy in victory. He drank, to drown his pain in a sea of wine... ...It was hate that drove him. Though he committed many sins, he never sought forgiveness."
Re: Think command....
I have done similar in these sorts of situations. Alternatively, otell self, if you don't want people around you seeing your amulet flash, since thinking things wouldn't make the amulet do that in the first place.
I've also from time to time took some liberty with smotes and used them to convey inner feelings. Something like 'smote is outwardly calm, though a barely contained rage burns within' or something like that. I only use this rarely, and only when I know an imm is watching, but I think it's technically a misuse of the command, so other peoples let me know if this one's a no.
But yeah, tells, definitely!
