I could use some advice on weapons. Does anyone know of a 1 handed weapon that does 1-8 piercing damage (or something that does more than 1-6 at medium size)?
I read of a trident that does 1-8 piercing damage and is 1 handed, but, i have not seen it in game. I only read of it on d20srd.
Any advice is appreciated!

There are picks available in the long and short spike category of weapons which do piercing damage, but finding them can be difficult at times.

Tridents and pitchforks and a bevy of other ranseurs and polearms that can be wielded one-handed are in game and fairly easy to access.
