Darkness

Post by Solaghar » Sun Apr 17, 2005 8:17 pm

This spell would be the exact opposite of light, making a small floating item the caster can hold which would suck the light out of a room, no matter how many torches anyone has. Would make the blind-fighting feat much more worthwhile, and this sort of spell is well-supported in D&D.

Would this spell be penetrable by divination, IE spells like True Sight?

Absolutely, it's a purely physical light-based spell.

ah yea that kind of spell in D&D normal lights couldn't penetrate but if someone cast per say a magical light spell it would null the darkness and vice versa
