Just wondering, but would it be possible to have a large scabbard on your mount that could hold a weapon? Maybe there could be a prog on it that would do something like:
order mount get weapon scabbard
order horse give weapon player
wield weapon
the sheath part would be
remove weapon
give weapon horse
order mount put weapon scabbard
Is it possible to bypass animal handling this way, (to prevent animal handling failure messages to mess it up) because your mount wouldnt actually be doing all the work? Or to even use a prog on an item that your mount uses?
Just an idea I thought would be neat for a saddle scabbard or some such.

Glim asks Gwain 'Can I be on the watch?!?'
Gwain raises an eyebrow.
Gwain seems to display a look of complete horror for a second...

What about sheaths that tie on to packs. If you look at the 3rd ed PH players handbook there is a pic of an adventurer that is amazingly accurate. He has his pack on and it is covered with if I remember correctly pots and pans and other things he has tied all over the thing. I used to camp a lot being a boy scout and all of that and I can tell you we tied tons of stuff to the out side of our pack.
Could we give packs two or three wear locations depending on the pack for things like sheaths or other items we don't like putting in the pack.

I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter.
