Blade dancers

Is this something we are allowed to let our fighters be? I know blade dancers are rare even in tabletop, but it seems a interesting rp line for an elven fighter. Could we perhaps play one that had just completed there training and set out to see the world or is this special enough it is an app only thing?

Sounds like a prestige class to me, and unfortunately at this time there are no prestige classes. Eventually I believe prestige classes will be added as quests of some sort. I will allow someone with more knowledge on this subject clear it up a bit more.

FYI, Blade Dancers are closer to fighter/clerics from the Jennifer Roberson books.

No, I am refering to a special skill elven fighters can get as a weapon proficancy called blade danceing. It is trained up useing weap. prof. slots. Only elves are allowed to learn it and teaching it to any other race would most likely get you killed. Those who use it are called blade dancers, hence the title of this post. =)

Of course we may be useing two diffrent words for the exact same thing.

As it is, I see paladins as a prestige class that is unsupported by code.

You have to be a squire, and gain prestige to become one, which is the basic definition of what one is.

So, would it perhaps be possible for the blade dancer class to be coded, and after an elven fighter has become significantly prestigious, they can become a blade dancer?

I would add, that a few suitably advanced players do play elven paladin squires.

It would seem an ideal candidate for discussion. A feat restricted to elves in general not necessarily just to fighters. Perhaps one that duplicates the AC bonus of 'twin sword style'. Or perhaps discussion will bring out some other possible bonuses to employ
