Duergar/Orog/Svirfneblin of the Underdark

Hello,

Since Skullport is kind of like the Waterdeep of the Underdark, I was curious if it would be possible to have the Orog, Duergar, and Svirfnebling be able to start there. This would open up those few races that currently do not have hometowns and allow people to play them until their hometowns come in, also, perhaps if they were open and more people could play them, this would encourage more people to build areas for them.

Players would understand that there is little area support for them, but I don't think this would be much of a hindrance.

Personally i am in two minds on this one.

I love the idea of these races being available. But there only option for roleplay is to go to the surface from Skullport, there is no area support for these races at all. And they can not even if they wanted to get into the more generally underdark'y areas as they are attached to Menzoberranzan which is blocked to all but Drow (currently).

However I think they should be available if you apply for them and have a character idea that can explain exactly why they are going to end up on the surface, not something most of theses races would readily do.

The ideal is obviously to have areas for these races linked into a more generally accessible underdark that would allow RP predominantly with the other underdark races, but with the possibility of RP'ing with surface races in some way. But this is a fairly major task.
