VT help

Syntax: vt100 <on|off|full|autosize>
vt100 <rows>
refresh

VT100 ON will activate semi-graphical VT100 support mode. Note that not all
programs can handle this, and if you try it, be ready to send
VT100 OFF,
which will disable the VT100 mode and return to a purely text output format.

VT100 <number> will set the number of rows used in VT100 mode. The allowed
range is from 10-100 lines, and the initial default is 24.

VT100 autosize will attempt to automatically adjust to fit your display.

VT100 support will display the main stats used, in real time, during play.
The 'Affects' line at the top of the screen lists the first 3 letters of the
spells, conditions, etc (affects) that currently impact your character.

VT100 FULL will toggle a tactical mannequin display and real-time map at the
top of your screen on and off. Use of full VT100 mode is highly recommended!
It makes the game more enjoyable, and far more playable, though it isn't
essential.

In order for any of the VT interface to work, you must be using a VT100+
compatible client (program). Most modern telnet clients are VT100+
compatible (Most are VT102). If you find that you are getting gibberish on
your screen even after
REFRESHing, then you should set VT100 OFF and consider
upgrading your client (program).

REFRESH will clean up your screen if it gets messed up.

In order to get the most from FK (and see the real-time map!) try VT100 ON,
then
VT100 FULL. If you get gibberish, apply VT100 OFF to recover, and
consider getting a MUD client with ANSI color and VT100 support. These are
generally listed in the features section of a prospective client program
under "terminal emulation," but are not available in all clients (programs).
Several free programs do offer it, however! (Please refer to the links below)
