Gray Orcs
Gray orcs are most common in the eastern lands and are most often
found around the Moonsea and Endless Wastes. There are also small
settlements of these more civilized of Orcs, scattered in between.
These orcs look less bestial then their more savage kin. They are
somewhat hairy, with long manes of bristly hair that covers most of
their body. Most of them have yellow, orange, or red eyes, pointed
ears, and black or gray hair. Their skin is usually gray with patches
of lighter or darker gray on their chest and flanks. They are very
adept at the fighting classes, such as fighters and barbarians.
Arcane spell casters, while not unknown, are very rare amongst the
gray orcs. Clerics often craft scrolls and potions to aid themselves
and to bolster the strength of their tribe.
