The Prayer Board
Prayers are logged to an in-game message board monitored by the Immortals.
Please keep your use of the 'pray' command to a minimum, as this spams the
board and makes it difficult for the Immortals to keep up with. Limit your
prayers to those that truly require a deity's attention, such as wanting to
follow that god, or to bring a specific roleplay situation to the attention
of a deity.
For situations that don't actually require an Immortal's attention, such as
rituals, prayers for guidance, and the like, please use 'smote' instead.
* Immortals have a great deal to do and are not idling at the prayer board
waiting for prayers to come in! If you pray, please be patient, and
appreciate that once your prayer is read, an Immortal must actually find you
online in order to help you. This is particularly sanguine if you are dead.
If you are busily playing an alt rather than your dead character...no divine
intervention will be forthcoming and your dead character will remain dead.
