Resistances and Damage Reduction
Syntax: resistance
This command displays your character's resistances and damage reductions to
various types of attack. Different spells and different equipment can
affect your resistances and damage reductions. Mobiles can also have
resistances and damage reductions.
The types of damage to which one can be resistant are as follows:
bashing slashing piercing magic bashing
magic slashing magic piercing fire cold
electricity acid magical energy divine energy
* Resistances reduce damage to a fraction of what it would otherwise have been.
Damage reductions completely nullify the first points of damage of a specific type.
* This command will also display any spell resistance you possess.
* When an attack is rendered completely ineffective because of damage
reduction, you will get the echo "Your strike bounces off ..."
