Kesiel Tingilinde, Holycoin of Waukeen

One of the twin children of Miriel Tingilinde, Autumn's Mage, Kesiel and her
brother Raerumil spent their early years in the forest of Cormanthor. Their
mother raised them by herself, and they know very little of their father
beyond the fact that he was an aasimar born from the union of a Moonshard-
descendant of Selune and a Chultan wizard of questionable character. As
children Kes and Rae were unruly at best - horrors at worst, though she was
always the more contemplative of the two.

Kesiel was touched by Waukeen at an early age: as their mother was one of the
Nine who ventured into the Abyss to rescue the Merchant's Friend, the goddess
visited the twins shortly after their birth. Both still bear the mark of Her
kiss upon their foreheads. Kesiel was deeply touched by the event. Though she
should, by rights, have been too young to remember it, she would often dream
of a brilliant, gleaming goddess cradling her in Her arms. She has always
harboured a desire to touch gold, to make it and spread it throughout the
Realms.

Just before her coming of age, Kesiel was sent to finishing school in
Zazesspur, where the priests of the Temple of Commerce welcomed her with open
arms. Shortly afterwards, she was officially ordained as a priestess of
Waukeen herself.

A driven young woman with a burning desire to prove that she is at least her
mother's equal, Kesiel's rise through the ranks of the church could be
described as meteoric. Just before her 20th birthday, while hosting an
auction in Daggerford, Kesiel was again visited by the goddess Waukeen in the
form of a bright ball of light. With all present as witness, she was named
Holycoin.

Kesiel has a great many friends among the more notable citizens of Faerun
that she loves and adores, and shares a deep bond with her twin brother. She
is also the 'governess' of a trading company named the Three Coins, which she
founded with the Tymoran Lores Blakewood. The company specialises in the
supply of magical components.
