Turn undead
Syntax: turn <undead target>
This skill targets undead creatures only. It will make undead flee from you.
If you are much higher level than the undead creature then you have a chance
stunning or even totally destroying the undead creature.
This skill uses charges and is a unique ability for priests and paladins; it
will recharge as the charges are used up. It takes a day to be fully
recharged. To view the number of charges left, type ABILITIES; to see how
skilled your player character is at turning undead, type SKILLS.
* Neutral and evil priests have the option of dominating lesser undead
through their power to turn them. To do so, set your killmode to stun
('killmode stun'). If in killmode kill, you will turn undead normally,
destroying them if you can.
* Priests must commit themselves to a deity (be "faithed") before they will
be able to turn undead. Turning channels the power of their deity. Before
being faithed, clerics will have Turn Undead appear in their abilities list,
but not in their skills list. They will not be able to train the skill (nor
be offered training in it) until it appears in their skills list. Turn
undead cannot be used until it has been trained at least once, no matter how
many charges one may have for it.
* This skill must be trained before it can be used. It does not employ
the 'invoke' command, as racial abilities do.
