Complaints

1. The Complaints System is a resource to report any cases
of perceived abusive, inappropriate, or illegitimate actions
by a member of staff or another player. Also, Complaints is
the correct place to report simultaneous log-ins on the same
IP address, to request redress for kismet losses caused by
by a game error during character creation, or to request the
deletion of a character in your account. You will receive
a reply from the FK Complaints Team within two weeks of your
complaint being posted, but we are not obliged to detail our
response to your complaint - we will discuss every complaint
and respond as needed, whether we explain our response to it
or not.

a. Reasons to Complain. Here are the authorized uses of the
Complaints System.
1. Abusive actions (you feel wronged)
2. Inappropriate actions (you feel offended)
3. Illegitimate actions (you believe that someone broke the rules)
4. Simultaneous log-in (you are on the same IP address as another player)
5. Kismet Loss During Character Creation (you believe there was a coded error)
6. Deletion request (you have a PC you want deleted from your account)
7. Strike Removal (it has been three months since you received a strike)

b. Things to Consider. If you believe that the actions of a
staff member or PC warrant a complaint then gather the facts
of the issue (as many are available), read any relevant help
files, and take your time. Something written hastily in the
heat of the moment will probably be neither accurate nor the
way you would like to present yourself to the staff. Staff
members will examine your complaint in detail. Please give
us the same courtesy in effort that we will give to you.

c. How to Complain. You can submit your complaint using the
forums. Post to the Complaints Reporting forum.

1. Format. Title your post with the account name and issue.
e.g. "BobsFK - Slain by an Immortal" Ensure that you provide
the name of the involved PC in the message body.

2. Content. Summarize the issue succinctly. Include facts
if possible and describe the impact(s) of the action(s).
