Online Help

Polearms are very long weapons.  They are used mostly by warriors.
Polearms include:

   halfspear     halberd       longspear
   harpoon       javelin       lance           
   pilum         spear         trident
   scythe        naginata*
 
* A heavy polearm can be wielded in one hand only if mounted or if it is at
least one size category smaller than your character (e.g. small for a medium PC)
 
* A character wielding this weapon without also having the 'exotic weapon
proficiency' appropriate to this particular weapon will be considered
unskilled with it.
