Torm is the patron of paladins and those who face danger for a greater good.
In life, Torm was the most faithful of warriors, obeying all the commands of
his king regardless of personal danger. Today he is the war arm and champion
of Tyr, Lord of Justice, delivering justice to those who are evil, deceitful
and destructive, and acting to keep law, order, and loyalty everywhere.
The Tormish receive his favor for protecting and aiding others, and for when
they give the dead due ceremony and respect. Disrespect to the dead or acts
of cowardice in battle displease Torm and cost the Tormish his favor.
The Tormish may use their high favor to supplicate (see help supplicate) for
for recall to a safe haven or for resurrection from the dead. Those who are
most favored may ask for and receive artifacts from Torm.
The church of Torm sponsors many orders, but the most prominent is the Order
of the Golden Lion, an order dedicated to serving the Penances of Duty.
