I'm going to be taking a little break myself because I've been playing far too often so I'll probably cycle through my characters and play more leisurely, but it'll likely end with me getting sucked back in
This is exactly what I find convoluted and hard to understand. Why proposing to have an ability that costs two feats when the lore, as presented in the source material for halfdrow, does clearly state that: As I said it's not preferable- I think that your ideas on it are better. Unless there is a s...
I'm not dead set on that alteration it's just what makes the most sense to me, but it could be role-played differently as someone unlocking their latent abilities. If your eyes are adjusted to handle such darkness then that's where the sensitivity to daylight arises. I think paying two feats for Dar...
I am not the most familiar with the race in tabletop or FK, but I am curious as to the purpose of it existing as a penalty for the race in terms of game mechanics here in FK as well as lore-wise. My interpretation, which is likely incorrect or skewed, is that their half-blood nature prevents them fr...
I just wanna say I support this idea as a whole, but I really like the flavor that was suggested in that Genasi cannot learn their opposing element's tongue (Except with a great deal of effort since it is so alien to them) and Aasimar/Tiefling are barred wholly from Infernal/Celestial respectively. ...
I can get behind this. It's hard to see any real drawback that it would have and it makes sense. It means that younger adventurers would have an easier time of things when grouping up with a fighter, but that's generally the idea behind the concept anyways.
I tried my best to build Caethan into an Arcane Warrior archetype despite knowing it would not be viable. He has the proficiency to use Bastard Swords and I commonly use extended versions of combat enhancing skills such as heroism, bull's strength, cat's grace, etc. I even armor myself with the usua...
Gonna be gone for the next couple of days after today. Gonna visit my parents for their anniversary and I do not believe they have internet out at the ranch.
On the bright side I'll mostly be angling out on the dock so there's that.
Deep in the mountains, caves, and the surrounding forests of the Orcish claim a peculiar horn sounds calling forth new blood to a fresh clan, one that serves Malar the Beastlord. Despite the fledgling clan's recent founding they have already found some measure of power in numbers, alliances, and fa...
Have a little more time in my schedule after a long series of events going on. I got married, changed jobs, and I'll be moving from my little town of less than two thousand to the third largest city in our state.
Hello, friends! It's been a while and I find myself longing to play again. My character Caethan had so much time invested, but with all the time that has passed I can't really find it in me to continue him solely. I may use him for cameo appearances, but I feel the RP has gone stale for me. He had a...
Caethan may be back before too long. I've been super busy with work and college is around the corner for me. There may also be some military service in the future as well. I miss many of my friends here dearly, but any free time I've had has gone to reading The Wheel of Time and trying to catch a br...
I've been hurt/sick for the past four months, but didn't have insurance to cover a doctor's visit. Now that my insurance is re-instated I'll be going to the doctor this Monday and depending on what the scans show I may be in therapy and treatment for a while. It's potentially an infected torn muscle...
A few people around the Dripping Dagger Inn have been perpetuating a rumor that there is to be a meeting there soon of able-bodied folk that are willing to aide in an unspecified "goodly" cause. The specifics have yet to be named and folks are merely informed to show up if they have skill...
With the holidays rapidly approaching my time will be scarce as we start doing less festivals and more catering events for those that are having their holiday feasts. Good for business, but bad for spare time. Caethan will be back around more regularly in January. I'm still working on the building p...
