Spell components
A spell component is an ingredient needed to cast some spells. Usually the
spells are more powerful. Sometimes the component is used up slowly. Other
spells completely destroy the component, while still others do no damage to
the component at all. Holy Symbols are never destroyed when they are used as
components.
Many of the components needed for spells weigh nothing, but others have
weight. One can learn what components are needed for the spells they know by
using the 'spellbook' commmand.
