Just for clarification. If you have a character who wants to follow Bane, just keep it on the down low until the RP for his return begins? :?:

Also I would add that at least when I hear saying a cleric of X something, I am assuming that the church of X says something too, if this is not the true well his superiors or his deity will teach them by hard. Well, I wouldn't necessarily think so. If something a priest says is in direct contradic...

I like the idea of them as NPC's as well. It strikes a good balance between letting the PC's run/organize things among themselves(even if they may not have the title "Head Honcho of the Zhentarim") while remaining true to FR lore.

I think the reason why faiths are allies or enemies is that the gods have had a falling out or a close bond. It wouldn't make sense to the few of a faith to make such a dramatic change as creating allies or enemies. I think it could only change if the gods had some destructive or constructive rp. A...

Well, honestly that's not a hard and fast rule. The Gods don't have totally free reign like that even in FR. FR Books and adventures are full of servants/priests of deities being killed, imprisoned, tortured etc. and yet cities are not routinely wiped off the map, or whole regions devastated. You co...

Haroun is more or less supposed to be black, "cinnamon-skinned", from Tashalar. But the FR source material isn't very clear, it variously describes Tashalans as "olive-skinned" or "cinnamon-skinned", meanwhile in the picture from IIRC FRCS they are rather clearly black....

It should also be noted that Velsharoon, the God of Necromancy, is a subordinate deity to Mystra. (Even if he isn't very reliable). :P

I would imagine that you would have to do a great deal of RP within your faith beforehand, and get the approval of the particular deity before even attempting to apply. Forming an entirely new Order within a faith is quite a bit larger an undertaking than simply getting some friends together to form...

On that note though, PC's in FK are not "normal" people. They're adventurers, championing the causes of the Gods and slaying mighty monsters and all that. You could argue that you wouldn't necessairly be immediately identifiable as such, but Joe Bob the farmer who is just in Waterdeep to s...

==Yes, some will worship one god above all others, but I'm willing to bet that your average serf won't.== I'm not actually sure I'd agree with that, and this goes partially to Dugald's comments about those awkward "What God have you chosen?". You average serf might not be a faithful in the...

Other than "There is a snow drift piled here", is there actually a room flag for "snow"?

What I mean is, how does the skill determine whether you're in a proper environment for skiing.?

Well, I'd think that would apply to just about any evil faith. The assorted evil deities may occasionally ally out of convenience (or fear), but I don't think any of them really like eachother, and good deities are obviously right out. But if anything, I'd imagine the idea of "deceiving them to...

By non-specialised you mean mages? As from what I can see, unless the level requirements are different, non-guilded wizards don't get any spells above first level, which would include those other divination spells, particularly the ones that actually let you "divine" i.e. magic mirror . :w...

Diviner's Guild?

Didn't find any other mention of it, so thought I'd ask.

I noticed that all the schools of magic have their specialist guilds except Divination. Are there any plans to bring a Diviner's Guild into the game?
