Kismet costs
Kismet can be checked or charged in order to ensure that the
player is prepared for certain roleplay choices and that the
integrity of the game's roleplay is maintained. This is best
for the individual player who is now less likely to find the
choice too difficult, and the game, which continues to enjoy
a higher level of roleplay.
Hometowns other than Waterdeep require a check of 50 kismet,
not a charge.
Choices of race, alignment, and class require kismet costs.
