Warriors

Warriors have the best all-around fighting capabilities, and
each there are three distinct guilds which proceed from this
class:
fighters, rangers, and paladins. The chief statistics
of a warrior are
strength (STR) and consitution (CON), but a
warrior may wish to tailor his development to suit one guild
or another, or they may wish to pursue a specific role-play.

Warrior Guilds:

* Fighters are experts in melee combat and excel above every
other type of warrior in this pursuit. There is no role-play
requirement in order to become a fighter.

* Paladins are holy warriors of their chosen Power. They are
powerful melee combatants, but sacrifice some martial skills
for divine prayers. There is a significant role-playing test
in order to join this guild.

* Rangers are outdoorsmen, hunters, and guides of the wilds.
They trade some of their martial skills for spells and those
special wilderness skills which set apart their class.

* A warrior can only join one of the three guilds. A warrior
who is ejected from one guild will lose the skills gained in
that guild.

* Warriors begin with two ranks in armor proficiency and one
rank in
shield proficiency.
