The Ebon Spur
The Ebon Spur is a cavalry force devoted to the service of Cyric. It requires
its members to be proficient at riding and use of the lance and its current
headquarters is the Ebon Spires, located in Zhentil Keep.
Faithful of Cyric wishing to join the ranks are advised to visit the Spires
or seek out its current commander - Spur Lord Nerian Xavril.
For many years, this fighting order established by Cyric had no leader. It is
rumoured that the two clerics in charge of establishing admission standards
into the order could not agree on what those standards were to be, and
resorted to intricate plots to kill each other off, each convinced that he
was correct and his foe utterly wrong. They both pretended that Cyric
appeared to them and gave them precise orders, but the orders given to the
two priests were contradictory. They finally managed to kill each other off,
and the assistant that helped each succeed in this became the first leader of
the order.
The Cyricist crusaders of the Ebon Spur lead fighters against rival churches
for the glory of the Prince of Lies.
To learn more information about this order, try to meet and speak ICly with a
follower of that deity. You cannot roleplay being part of such an order
without being ICly accepted into it.
